Dr. Leïla Kossou is a seasoned Market Intelligence Manager and an independent Academic Researcher whose work experience spans over 20 years. She started her career in Germany, in the automotive industry as a Marketing and Sales professional in the Service Marketing and Sales & Operations Planning areas.
After spending 12 years with a car manufacturer, Dr. Kossou kept on contributing to the academia in an entrepreneurship and intelligence research lab of the University of Bretagne Occidentale in France. In 2013, she came back to the industry by joining GEA Group, in Global Market Intelligence, in Germany.
Dr. Kossou’s versatile background has led her to convey her strategic management expertise in international colloquia, books, and papers, with a focus on strategic business intelligence, clusters, and coopetition. She is involved in academic and practice-oriented reflections upon intelligence within the context of sustainable development and inclusive growth of developed & emerging economies.
In social media, Dr. Kossou is the founder of sustainability-oriented group Nature really Matters, a leadership committee member of the Institute for Resilience, and Propósito Fitness. She is also EQORIA's Citizen Engagement and Welfare Coordinator. She has held several speeches for audiences with diverse background, from fellow researchers to C-Level executives.
